Personality: Ken is an enthusiastic but somewhat weak-willed man. He tries to do what is best, but he tends to run out of stamina and willpower quickly. Still, he is a good man and will only put his efforts toward a noble cause.
Background: Ken kernals was born in Los Angeles to Nebraskan parents. He was a sickly child but led an otherwise normal life; however, as he grew older his parents' health deteiorated. Unknown to them all, the Kernal family had a gentic predisposition to the corn plant. If they were near it, it would grow healthy and beautiful - and it would return that energy, making them big and strong. However, the Los Angeles lifestyle left them without proximity to the live plant, hence their failing health and their son's weak body.
When he was 13, his parents died. As their souls left their bodies, he seemed soon to follow; but the souls of the parents met Homshuk, the Oaxacan God of Corn, on the immaterial plane. The pleaded with him to help their son survive. Homshuk entered the body of Ken, keeping him alive. Soon, he found he had certain super powers as well...
Now an adult, he uses his powers to support justice and himself. While people suggest he join the Vindicators, he feels he doesn't need them slowing him down.
