Player: Lybod
Name: Victoria Alicia Gabrielle Cashmere Amethyst VonSteele (but you can call her Tori).
Codename: None yet
Age: 18
Height: In feet
Weight: In pounds
Hair: In color
Eyes: Also color
Nationality: Whatever seems right. Change to 'Species' if not human.
Occupation: Student
Appearance: Tori is a classically attractive girl, with good breeding and strong lines and the appearance of knowing what all that means. She is built long and healthy, with spa-smoothed tanned skin and a personal trainer toned body. She has dark blue eyes and long straight black hair that she tends to re-style every so often. Given her preference, she'll be seen in a snug t-shirt and jeans - designer, of course, but she didn't pick them out.
Costume: None yet
Personality: Tori is a regular person in an upper-class world. She has the breeding, bearing, and education of the upper crust, but the heart and soul of a down-to-earth person. While she enjoys the opera, she is happier barefoot in the back yard. Overall, she is a very classy girl with a big heart and a friend to everyone. She's bold and smart and outgoing, a self-confident in-control young woman just trying to enjoy her life before she figures out what she is supposed to do with it. Boxing, painting, safari, violin - these are all just pastimes while she is still young enough to know them.
Background: The VonSteeles are a white-tie modern day dynasty of American upper class. They're the sort of people whose home would be toured on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous; they race yachts and go to charity auctions and walk around museums wings with their names on them.
Victoria is not like them. She loves them, they love her, but her heart is not in high society. She grew up not understanding the difference between the neighbors and the help, wanting to know everyone and treat everyone the same. Still, she wasn't allowed to hang out with the staff and rich people breed like pandas, so she had few friends and a great deal of free time.
She began a collection of hobbies, the most notable and enjoyed of this being classical boxing. This dignified and traditional way of punching people in the head was acceptable to her family, and the thrill of the violet physical activity put some passion in her life. She branched out into all the arts; martial, visual, musical, and performing.
Competitive boxing soon followed, and she was one of the best. She was aware, of course, that there is always someone better. She kept that mindset and it kept her humble until she was shocked to find out - there wasn't. As she would find herself overwhelmed by an opponent, she'd study their moves and feel a flash through her body, and suddenly be just as good as them.
That flash was visible to everyone else as well, and while it could be passed off as arena lights it became a problem. Victoria, was a mutant. While the family tried to figure out what to do, they were miraculously contacted by a school on California. It promised to give her an education deserving of her status, training in her special gifts, and a chance be around hundreds of people her own age. She left immediately.

Fighting----- Incredible (40)
Agility------ Fantastic (30)
Strength----- Excellent (14)
Endurance---- Fantastic (30)
Reasoning---- Excellent (14)
Intuition---- Fantastic (30)
Psyche------- Incredible (40)
Hit Points: 144
Mental health: 84
Resources: Excellent
Source of Income- Parents' credit card.
Origin of Powers: Mutant
Powers: Tori has the ability to copy the abilities she sees others using.
Counter-Copy- Tori has the Spectacular(50) ability to instantly learn and/or gain an ability she observes someone else doing. This can be an Attribute, a Power, a Talent, a Skill, even a Weakness, so long as she can see the target doing it. This works on anything with a life-force; human, mutant, deity, etc. - but not on nonliving things like robots.
'Observing' may simply be a statement that the character has done it, or it may require the target making a successful roll. To copy someone's Fighting score, she must have seen them in combat for a few rounds. To copy Regeneration, she must see them heal. Some things, like Super Endurance, are very hard to observe. Others, like Super Intelligence, may be impossible. In some cases, she can observe a Power and Copy it with its Stunts. Sometimes she only gets the Power, and sometimes she only gets a Stunt. As a note, Tori does not have to know how the power works to take it and may end up with unexpected features.
Tori can have one thing copied at any given time. To Counter-Copy, she rolls her ability to do so. Counter-0Copy is a free action but can only be rolled once per turn. On a Green, she gains the ability for one use at her discretion, no sooner than her next turn. On a Yellow, she gains the power on her next turn for as long as she likes. On a Red, she gains it immediately. Gaining the power has an obvious visual effect as a 'gleam' passes across the surface of her body.
Tori gains the ability at the rank it is at the instant she uses it. For example; Corn Man has Excellent rank Fighting. If Tori fights him and copies his Fighting, she will get Excellent rank Fighting. However, if Corn Man grabs a power-up that gives him Unearthly fighting for 2 rounds, and Tori uses her power right away, she will get Excellent rank Fighting because he has not used it. If he attacks her, she can then use her power to get the Unearthly rank Fighting, and she will keep it permanently even though Corn Man loses it afterward.
A Copy can be 'lost' at will buy declaring that she is losing it and not using it for a round. Copies are also lost any time Tori loses consciousness.
*Photographic Reflexes- Tori gets +1 to copy a Fighting rank.
*Copy-Counter- If Tori has no ability Copied, she may use her Counter-Copy in response to an attack. If all the attacks in a series of attacks are the same, she may respond to them all with this roll. If at least one attack roll is green or better and her roll beats all attack rolls, she instantly copies the ability that was used and uses it to counter all attacks. If she fails, she does not get to dodge any of the attacks that she tried it against, however, if there are attacks she did not try this on she may dodge them separately.
Note: Copy-Counter is a defensive roll and except as noted is treated like dodging.
Toughness- Fantastic(30) extra hit points.
Equipment: none yet
Equipment-
Weaknesses:
Life's a Botch- Botching her Counter-Copy ability often results ion her copying the wrong thing.
Contacts: Parents, the School.
Personal trainer
Personal shopper
Personal driver
Boxing coach
Violin teacher
etc.
Knowledges: Tori has an encyclopedic knowledge of classical music, and a secret knowledge of modern music. However, he has a distaste for rap and knows nothing about it.
Skills: Tori plays classical violin, beautifully, at Reasoning+2. She paints at Reasoning+1. She's also very good at video games, but her family must never know! In general, Victoria is adept at intellectual and classical pursuits.
Her high Fighting rank comes from her training to be a professional boxer. She can choose to deal +6 damage with her fists when using her natural Strength.
Notable Notes: Tori owns a collection of very expensive antique violins. Tori's desire to be normal is something she hides from her family. 'Normal' does not refer to her x-factor, but her upper class lifestyle.
