Picture: TEMP PICTURE
Personality: ever since she was young, Sophie was full of life and has a driven passion to live despite the hand she was dealt with. She is a fire cracker when it comes to expressing herself. She doesn’t know why but she’s very emotional and empathetic to those around her despite her trying to be a normal emotionally balanced young girl. Its sad really, she tries to hard and often times, it does nothing in her well being but she just keeps on trucking on.
Background: Sophie's birth rights are not well known for she has never known her parents. Her mother had brought her into town to visit a sister and she struck ill, died within her sisters care. They were not wealthy but still raised Sophie as best they could including the expensive wardrobe from the constant tearing from her adventures. Her aunt's family had moved the family to the country, hoping the tranquility would help Sophie learn more control but sadly, the over stimuli of the natural environment made things harder as she always wanted to run all over. She moved back to the city when her aunt got a better job. Now she’s trying to adapt to her new city life and control the beast within. As soon as she turned 14, she started volunteering at the animal shelter and that’s where she got bit by an escaped laboratory dog. The thing looked more like a wolf then a dog and seemed to be sick when the shelter decided to put it down. The laboratory picked up the animal when its collar was activated accidentally by the vet. No one knew that Sophie had been bitten by that specific creature and probably for the best for that night, her transformation began.
A few years later she was a full-on werewolf but still knew nothing of her own kind. In the process of exploring her new abilities she was approached by precinct 13 the black precinct and was taken on as a cadet.

Origin of Powers: Werewolf
-Species: Tene-Bete
-Scientific Name: none
-Species Description: The Tene-Bete are a European breed of werewolf that moved to the Americas during early colonization. They bred with and eventually assimilated a local species of native-American werewolf, driving them into extinction but taking on some of their culture. They are a loosely social type of werewolves; it is important that they know others of their kind and can contact each other, but they do not often form close packs and tend to live alone or with their family. However, this does not carry over to socializing in genera, and they do insist on being around people. From the European side, they are very advanced and have a set of pre-determined transformations, as opposed to the freeformed disgusting limbo-forms of those they assimilated. They remain alert and intelligent in all forms and retain their ability to speak. However, some of the genetics they absorbed to force them on some instinct, such as a bestial 'fight' response and some moon-forced transformations. This also affords them a spiritual relationship. While they do not commune with the spirits or perform rituals, each individual Tene-Bete has a totem spirit they call a 'Mabete'. The Tene-Bete retains the senses and some mannerisms of its Mabete even in human or wolf form. Tene-Bete are very sturdy and reasonably powerful, but they cannot defend against or heal from silver. Silver kills the lycanthropic infection in their blood.
Becoming a Tene-Bete first requires an exposure to the initial infection via body fluid exchange. However, at this point it is merely a disease which may or may not kill the host, like any disease. However, once a person is infected, one of the great totem spirit animals may choose to bless the union. If this happens, the infection goes from aggressive to symbiotic and the new werewolf begins to learn to control their new body. The totem animal becomes the 'Mabete'. The new werewolf has the ability to communicate with real animals, based on the totem. Being chosen by Wolf is considered an honor; most are not.
Powers:
Physical Aptitude- The physical attributes are enhanced by the different forms. Her human form enhancements are factored into her base stats.
Enhanced Senses- Night Vision at Intuition rank, and Intuition adjusts per transformation.
Running- Running at Poor(4) Land speed per the speed chart.
Hyper Leap- Strength in feet straight up or twice that forward.
Supernatural Armor- Good(10) vs all damage except listed.
Natural Weapons- None in human form.
*Supernatural Weapons- Sophie's natural weapons tend to ignore supernatural armor - the sort one gets from simply being a werewolf or vampire or such.
Regeneration- Good Regeneration (10 points per round)
*Toxin Resistance- Sophie is automatically immune to any toxic, poison, disease, radioactive, or other similar effect if it is of rank equal to or less than her Endurance. She can roll Endurance once per round to increase it by +1cs on a Yellow in respect to this ability.
Note: Or she can just change into a form with better Endurance.
Savage Heart- Sophie has extra hit points equal to her Battle Form Endurance.
Totem- Sophie's totem is Dog. Not the most respected totem spirit, but a reliable one. Sophie gets +1CS to scent-related rolls on tip of her already boosted skills. She can also speak to dogs, and unless they are somehow unnatural they are usually quite amicable toward her. This affords her some subconscious doglike behavior.
Note: Talking to dogs is vocal. She quietly makes dog sounds to them and they make dog sounds back, mostly quietly.
*Wolf Speech- Speaking to dogs is not the same as speaking to wolves, but it is close. As such, she and wolves can more or less understand simple concepts each other is trying to say. The wolves usually don't care, though, and can become aggressive.
Alternate Forms- Sophie has 4 pre-defined transformations numbered 1-5. She has the Incredible(40) ability to transform. To move from one form to the next one instantly, she spends an action and rolls this ability. Each form between the form she is in and the one she wants to assume gives -1CS to this roll. She always passes through the forms in between, so where she is will have to comply with her largest form in between. Alternatively, she can spend a full round to transform to the next form in line.
Example: Going from Human to Wolf would roll at -2CS or take 3 full rounds.
Forms are modified as below. HP & MP do not change.

Description: This form increases in height by 50% and weight by 300%. It loses most of its body fat in exchange for massive muscles - it has no breasts and can only be defined as female by the hips. It is far too large for any clothes that fit Sophie normally, save for possibly the important parts of her pants (the fabric will rip way from the thighs and everything down). It has a large wolf head and a noble posture, thick fur and long limbs and huge claws and teeth.
Note: Her body will destroy anything of less Material Strength than her battle mode Strength that cannot be moved, if it is in the way of her size change to Battle Form. If she simply cannot force it away, she will take her own Strength in damage (ignoring her armor) and revert to the previous form.
Powers:
Running- Running at Poor(4) Land speed per the speed chart.
*Wall-Running- Sophie can wall-run her Strength in feet.
*Claw Climbing- Sophie's battle claws will pierce most surfaces well enough for her to climb at her normal walking speed and afford her Strength in Adhesion, or Strength -1CS for each paw she is not using.
Hyper Leap- Strength in feet straight up or twice that forward.
Supernatural Armor- Fantastic(30) vs all damage except listed.
Natural Weapons- Claws for +10 damage with Good(10) Armor Piercing. Bite once per round Remarkable(20) Armor Piercing with Remarkable(20) Armor Piercing.
*Ravage- State rolling Ravage attack, then Roll Bite, Claw, Claw as per normal multiple actions. If all three attacks land, the damage is combined and then doubled. Damage from this attack cannot be 'pulled'.
Regeneration- Remarkable Regeneration (20 points per round)

Description:
Powers:
Running- Running at Good(14) Land speed per the speed chart.
Hyper Leap- Strength in feet straight up or twice that forward.
Supernatural Armor- Good(10) vs all damage except listed.
Natural Weapons- Bite for +8 damage and Poor(6) Armor Piercing.
Regeneration- Good Regeneration (10 points per round)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Talents:
Survival- Sophie can survive on her own in any non-arctic life-supporting environment indefinitely without supplies or a roll, so long as she is still a Werewolf.
Note: She can probably make it through the one night she is not, but not automatically.
Dog Training- With her ability to speak to dogs, she can get them to do pretty much anything. Given time, though, she can teach them to do any sort of trick at the command of others.
Equipment:
Black Precinct Badge- Sophie is a police officer in Los Angeles County.
Service Revolver- Her issued weapon, legal to conceal-carry wherver she goes. It is a .22 revolver that takes an action to reload and does Poor(6) damage.
K-9 Squad Car- Her Squad Car is modified with plastic back seats, and back doors that open via remote control.
Modified Uniform- Her official uniform is entirely different from a normal police uniform. It is windbreaker material that can be snapped away safely with a yank! It comes complete with a white t-shirt and a pair of black spandex boyshort underpants. She also has a police jacket in size XXXXL that hangs from her like a sail, but fits her Battle Form.
Weaknesses:
Silver- Damage from silver weapons does not Regenerate and heals as per human healing rate. Silver in her digestive tract keeps her from transforming, and silver in her bloodstream makes her 'not a werewolf', taking away all her powers and giving her -1CS to all physical stats.
Stress- Too much stress, pain, damage, etc can force her to react defensively. When GM calls for it, she must roll Psyche. If she fails, she will transform instantly to Battle Form and attack the source of her frustration and anything or anyone around it. Other color outcomes will be determined per scene. In some cases, she may instead transform to Full Wolf and run away. Wither issue is resolved by rolling Psyche once the source of the stress is no longer there.
Moon Transformations- For the three nights a month that the moon is full, Sophie loses access to her Human and Wolf shape. She will always be in one of the three hybrid forms. This restriction does not apply during the day, but when the sun sets she will assume the nearest hybrid form. Also, one night a month that the moon is New, Sophie is 'not a werewolf'.
Dogchild- In addition to acting a bit like a wolf, to a greater extent she also acts a bit like a dog. She is prone to sniff things, try to shake herself dry, ignore people's personal space, get distracted by noises or fast moving objects, etcetera. She is assumed to always be behaving this way unless the player indicates that she is not; she may have to roll Psyche to control herself.
Bloodlust- Scoring a critical on a bite attack in any hybrid form may cause her to have to roll Psyche or go into a frenzied state.

Notable Notes: Sophie does not know she is Tene-Bete and has yet to speak to another werewolf of any breed.
The K-9 unit has five well-trained German Shepards with the same physical stats at Sophie's Full Wolf mode. their names are: Scott, Hank, Warren, Remy, and Logan. There is also a puppy named Bobby and an old retired dog named Charles.
