Player: Jombi/Alleister/anything else I log myself in as. I change nicks a LOT.
Name: Francis "Colonial" Beauregard
Codename: Jombi (not known)
Age: Physically 70 / ageless
Height: 6'4
Weight: 175
Hair: Black
Eyes: Has no pupils.
Species: Formerly Caucasian, is now 'Undead'. Specifically, he is a Zombie.
Occupation: Unofficially, seems to be a guardian/protector figure, mainly to those hopeless few: Homeless bums, hookers who are looked down upon by everyone else, immigrants who are unable to communicate to others that they are being terrorized. You know, the ones who honestly have no one else looking out for them.
Appearance: The Jombi is a tall, lanky figure, His skin long since gray and rotting, his shape sinewy and scrawny like a homeless, or a heroin addict. His face is often grim and humorless, with many lines etched in. His teeth are strangely healthy and white, and his nails are often long and unkempt, same with his stringy black hair that comes down to his shoulders. Always cool to cold to the touch, his skin is also tough and leathery, a bit difficult to penetrate with a knife or other such weapon. As for clothing, he's most usually in a torn, raggedy white shirt, with equally torn, black pants, remnants of his burial, long ago. Usually, he is barefoot.
Personality: One would think that a creature like Jombi has no likes or dislikes, that he is neutrality incarnate, but surprisingly, he has his quirks. Though typically passive, whenever he wanders, he seems to find himself in shanty-towns, or among the homeless, a place where he still feels most comfortable, even in death. Although he is passive in regards to how he himself is treated, even at the cost of damage being dealt to him, he acts quickly if someone else is being hurt, particularly if that someone cannot defend themselves, i.e, a child, or a woman being struck by a man. Strangely enough, he will not interfere in something like a fair fight, understanding the difference. He also will very rarely intervene when it comes to something like theft, although he has made exceptions, depending on who it was being stolen from. And lastly, he tends to gravitate towards jazz music, for an unknown reason. Perhaps it's a connection, to who he used to be?
Background: Once upon a time, there was an old bum who called himself "Colonial" Francis Beauregard, an animated and lively old nutjob who was often known for his wild harmonica playing around town, and his general sociability. Though he looked absolutely penniless, he was surprising in the little bit of dough he always seemed to have, and he was always happy to help someone who he trusted. One day when he befriended a fellow drunk, and found out his son constantly took away his social security checks to spend on booze, Francis found the young man and delivered one of the most horrendous ass whippings never seen in the City of Angels. Unfortunately, the younger man had a gun, and blew the Colonial away. It was a sad event, but people soon forgot it after he was buried.
Just recently, his grave has been found empty, and a ghastly sight has been reported, deep in the grimy, filthy alleys, from West Hollywood to Los Angeles. Though a truly horrific sight to see, if you've been victimized and you feel you haven't a hope, seeing him may be the luckiest thing you ever lay your eyes on.

Source of Income- There is no income source.
Origin of Powers: Voodoo.
Powers:
Undead- The Jombi does not have a pulse, and does not require the same things that a living thing does to survive. He does not require oxygen, water, or food to go on living, poisons and knockout gasses have no effect on him, nor do pressure points and things that cause pain. It's unclear whether or not illusions work on him, but it could be that he simply does not care about them if he does see them. He also does not fatigue or "get tired", able to go on when anyone else would simply slump over.
Jombi is undead. This grants him the following qualities:
*Mindless- Jombi has no proper brain activity. He is immune to telepathy and not affected by emotional effects. Illusion effects are ignored by Jombi unless they are illusions of something he curretly has interest in.
*Dead Inside- Jombi is immune to things that disrupt the flow of a living body. Toxins, diseases, extra damage from called shots to organs, and other such things do not affect him. NOT IMMUNE TO CRITICAL HITS.
*Dead Sleep- Jombi is not subject to the normal rules of death. If dropped to 0 hit points, Jombi becomes immobile for 1d10 rounds and his Fast Healing(below) stops functioning for the duration. If additional damage is dealt to him equal to his Endurance(40) he remains immobile for 2d20 minutes, then wakes up at 1HP and gains Monstrous(100) Regeneration(10 HP per round) until his body and HP are restored; this power then reverts back to Fast Healing (below).
Super Strength- Fantastic(30) Strength. His human strength was Excellent(15).
Armor- Typical(8) Armor vs physical and kinetic damage.
Fast Healing- Fantastic(30) Fast Healing(3 points per round)
Sense Voodoo- Jombi automatically senses Voodoo magic within a 3 mile radius. Once a target is sensed, he can continue to sense it up to 300 miles away. Jombi must investigate any voodoo magic sources he is unfamiliar with.
Tracking- Jombi's intuition raises to Spectacular(50) when trying to detect the things he is looking for.
Weaknesses:
Undead Traits- Jombi has Feeble(4) Intuition for any Intuition rolls not related to tthings he is actively looking for.
Simple Mind- To solve a problem of any complexity (with any answer other than brute force) he must score a Yellow on a Reasoning roll. This can be problems as simple as opening a door, climbing a fence, or picking up an object for a weapon. Greater thoughts may be beyond him entirely.
EXCEPTION: Jombi is able to make a Called Shot or Power Attack
Weakness to Voodoo- Voodoo-based magic and effect can bypass any and all of Jombi's powers and traits.
Contacts: Bo-Bob, the self-proclaimed "Mayor" of the homeless in L.A. Not only does Bo-Bob have no fear of Jombi, but seems to take comfort in the ghoul's presence. He'll also inform Jombi of various crimes, and of people who have been terrorizing the bums, from skinheads, to vampires, to whatever else.
Knowledges: N/A
Skills:
Since Jombi does not have a breath or heartbeat or live scent, or any such of the normal 'giveaways' he may roll Stealth-related rolls at his Fighting rank.
Jombi does +2 damage on attacks with his physical body (punches, bites, grapples)
Notable Notes: Jombi is a Zombie.

Fighting----- (#) Fairly good. Used to be amazing, but now he's a lot slower. However, he's still every bit the vicious scrapper, and is now aided by a considerable pool of supernatural strength.
Agility------ (#) Very low. He's unable to even jog if he wants to. At most, he can do a sort of, lunge, toward his enemy, if they are close enough. But he's no Daredevil.
Strength----- (#) Tremendous. He couldn't lift a car because of his awkward joints, but he could push it up, for sure, and even flip it over.
Endurance---- (#) Tremendous. I'd say that a baseball bat would break before his bones will, and not feeling pain, he can take a lot of punishment. And add in his regeneration, he can be thrashed around all damn day.
Reasoning---- (#) Very basic, and very absolute, in his eyes. He gets that the broom could be blocking the door, but anything insanely complex, and he probably won't be much help. If he was in Riddler's lair, he would be there a while.
Intuition---- (#) Actually, not bad. He can tell a criminal from someone more innocent very easily, even if he logically shouldn't be able to deduce this.
Psyche------- (#) I think, strangely enough, it should be high. His mind is so simple, with so few goals in mind, and those goals are so clear, that I think it would be difficult for a mindreader to dissuade him from his purpose.
Hit Points: Ignore this
Mental health: Ignore this
Resources: Has no money.
Source of Income- There is no income source.
Origin of Powers: Voodoo.
Powers: Super strong zombie that regenerates.
Super Strength- Jombi could technically lift a Ford cop car, if he was able to utilize proper bending and lifting techniques. As it stands, he could probably rip a car door from it's hinges, to get at the person inside, to say nothing about what he could do (and has done) to a human body.
Toughness- It's unknown if this is caused by being undead or by his regeneration, but the Jombi's body is EXTREMELY tough. He can take a beating and keep on tickin'!
Regeneration- Jombi can heal, as long as there is enough of him to come back. Perhaps if he was entirely wasted away, he wouldn't be able to come back or move again, but as it stands, all attempts thus far to put him down have been failures.
Sense Alignment- Jombi can sense alignment.
Sense Voodoo- Jombi can sense Voodoo Magic, and is ALWAYS drawn towards it.
Equipment: No equipment.
Weaknesses: As Powers above. A 'Weakness' is something superhuman, or at the very least unique to you (or your alien species). A superhuman weakness is like Superman's weakness to Kryptonite - the average person doesn't worry about that. A unique weakness is like a phobia of spiders - it's not something most people worry about. Things true to the average person, like not being buletproof, are not weaknesses.
Undead- Jombi has no sense of physical touch, being unaware if he is in a dangerous place, or a meat locker, or anything like that, unless he's physically looking at it. It is possible to get him to walk into someplace really dangerous, and then safely sit by while he wades through whatever is taking him down.
VERY SLOW- Just like it says. His joints are pretty stiff. He's not a sprinter. In terms of reaction time, if you're healthy and reasonably fit, you'll likely have better reflexes, and you'll be able to out-power walk him, most of the time. Just pray he doesn't catch you.
Not a thinker- He won't be solving any riddles, or putting together any inventions, any time soon. It's a miracle if he manages to pick up a rock for a weapon!
Weakness to Voodoo- A strong Priest/Priestess or Chieftan can really bend Jombi around their finger, with the right spell. He's weak to this sort of control, and this is the only sort of 'damage' that will genuinely cause him pain.
Knowledges: N/A
Skills: This may actually be unintentional on his part, but the Jombi is quite skilled when it comes to stealth, and moving quietly. It's rare that more then a few people(homeless notwithstanding) ever catch a glimpse of him, unless it's someone he's about to murder.
Notable Notes: Jombi is a Zombie.
